I have been active in academia for more than 23 years of which the past 20 years have been with the University of South Africa. 

• ABOUT MYSELF

My research interests are primarily focussed within the information security field. However as I have been employed in a distance l learning environment, I have also naturally gravitated to conduct research in distance learning and community engagement. As a distance-learning practitioner (20 years), I have also been concerned with how to engage with students within a distributed environment.
